EVery Chocolate Mud Cake
Ingredients
- 3 Woolworths chocolate mud cakes
- 2 tubs Betty Crocker vanilla frosting
- 2 tbsp. cocoa powder
Your favourite chocolate confectionary, to decorate. (We used Maltesers, Kit Kat, wafer biscuits, Oreos, Lindt dark chocolate, Tim Tams, Kinder Surprise, and a Freddo Frog.)
Directions
Sift cocoa powder and mix it through the vanilla icing, to create a light brown shade.
Stack the three cakes on top of each other with a thin layer of icing between each. This layer will stick the cakes together.
Using a palette knife, spread a thin layer of icing all over the outside of your cake tower. It's fine if this first layer is a little messy. Place cake in the fridge and leave for an hour.
Apply another layer of icing to the cake, this time keeping the finish as smooth as possible. Transfer your cake to a serving plate or stand and add chocolate and biscuits to decorate.
