Steak with Chimichurri sauce
INGREDIENTS
- 12oz sirloin steak
- 2 tbsp. olive oil
- 2 tbsp. lemon juice
- 1 tbsp. apple cider vinegar
- 1 tbsp. minced garlic
- 1 tbsp. minced shallots
- ½ cup chopped parsley
- ¼ cup chopped cilantro
- 1 tsp. sea salt
- 1 tsp. black pepper
INSTRUCTIONS
- In food processor blend olive, lemon juice, vinegar, garlic shallots, parsley, cilantro, salt and pepper.
- Pour ⅔ contents in larger freezer bag along with steak and use remaining ⅓ of sauce for dipping. Marinate steak in refrigerator overnight or minimum 3 hours.
- Remove steak from refrigerator and let it come to room temperature for 30 minutes.
- For grilling medium well, cook on medium heat for 6-7 minutes on both sides.
